Last night we finally finished going through all the official wedding photos and selected 100 to go into THE album.

We had dinner with Max and Rose this evening. They had made us a very nice meal. Pauline had very kindly brought around an Apple and Feijoa crumble dessert but we didn’t get to sample that so it will be eaten by them tomorrow.

We are off to Wellington at lunchtime tomorrow and will catch up with Noel’s niece and nephew and their families. We then catch a car ferry to the South Island (Picton) at 9am Monday and have a long drive to Omarama where we hope to do a couple of days of gliding. At the moment the weather isn’t promising. Omarama is where Richie McCaw (NZ All Blacks Captain) flies gliders from. A very good instructor from our UK flying club at White Waltham, Ian Marshall, recommended Omarama for gliding.

Next weekend is Warbirds over Wanaka airshow and we will meet Max at Queenstown when he flies down on Thursday for it. We have been very kindly given VIP tickets to it because Max is a former Spitfire pilot.

Then we stay on in the South Island for about 10 days after the airshow.

It’s going to be hectic but very enjoyable! 🙂
