We have about 2 weeks before we leave Napier! 😮

We drove over to Max’s and had lunch with him at the café in the Summerset Village. We also put some washed clothes in his drier!

Then we went into Napier and saw Pauline so we had a coffee with her. Ok, ok, we also had a bit of cake too. 🙂

We went back to Max’s and had a nice cup of coffee and a biscuit with him.

Then back to the flat for a few hours so we did a bit of work and then did some exercise – going down and up Bluff Hill 4 times. We would have done more (honest!) but there were 2 cats to stroke and we got chatting to a local who was going up and down the steps. She said she had lost 20kg doing that! Good exercise!

At 6:15pm it was time to go to the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club’s AGM. It is a true club, run by the members and we were very impressed with how the meeting was run. The club is lucky to have Bruce Govenlock as President – he has been doing a very good job. The meeting ran from 7-9pm and afterwards we were there until 10:30pm chatting with the members. Then Jan invited us to hers and Bruce turned up. We had a good chat. Bruce had to leave after a while but we stayed and were having such a good time chatting that suddenly we found it was 2am! A very enjoyable evening.
