We went to a local café before going to MOTAT (Museum Of Transport And Technology) in the afternoon.

The Hot Chocolate was highly recommended – it was a stick of chocolate melting into hot milk – lovely.

The museum was fascinating – we were there 4 hours and could have stayed a lot longer.

Miles Magister. Built in 1938 this plane was based at Woodley (UK), with the RAF 8 Elementary and Reserve Flying School until 1945. I grew up and live in Woodley!

In the evening Lynne’s friend Phil arrived in his recently-acquired Pontiac Grand Ville that only just fitted on the driveway 🙂 and we had a delicious dinner, cooked by Lynne.
