Clocks went back over night so we are now 11hrs ahead of the UK.

The Civil Defence alarm was tested at midday. Apparently it can’t be heard in Max’s area, which seems to be a mistake that isn’t being rectified as apparently the authorities have been informed.

Noel and I had problems with the car’s mags just as we were going past Ahuriri (honest guv!) so had to stop and call in for an ice cream. We bumped into Peter and Yvonne and their granddaughter Eliza so sat chatting while having the ice cream.

We had a really nice dinner at Max’s, cooked by Max and Rose, and then went through the official wedding photographs so they could choose the ones they wanted.
