Today we drove from Coromandel to Waihi Beach but stopped at a few places on the way. Sadly the weather had turned and for the next couple of days there was low cloud and rain, which was a shame as the views would have been stunning on a beautiful day.

We stopped at Whitianga for lunch. A very pretty place and definitely worth a longer visit. We bypassed Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove due to time constraints but will be back.
