We did more wedding research things today then stopped at Shed 2 for a wine which turned into a second and some ‘blotting paper’ dinner. Afterwards we went to the nearby beach for Hokey Pokey ice cream. Ah, these pre-wedding diets… đŸ™„
You may laugh at the get-up but a hat and shades are essential in NZ as the sun is so strong and I was a bit sunburned so needed to wear them.
We then heard some sad news from Max. His friend at the Summerset retirement village, Ron Ward, had died. We had attended his 90th birthday celebration at Summerset just over a month earlier. A very nice man.
