We went over to Max’s retirement village just after lunch today as they were showing the DVD of the film “The Way” starring Martin Sheen with his son as director and actor. The subject was the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage and afterwards one of the village’s residents, a 74 year old lady, got up and spoke about walking it over 33 days last year!

The film showing was very civilised – the DVD was stopped half way through and we were each given a mini ice-cream lolly! Roll on retirement 🙂

After that we went to Noel’s suit hire shop to check they had all the info they needed, then on to a shop to get some wedding ‘things’ then on to the lady, Dorothy, making the cake to deliver the cake topper to her and talk about the cake’s decoration. Dorothy is also going to be our organist.

After all that exertion we decided against some exercise so had a kebab on the seafront. Will have to do some exercise tomorrow…
