The afternoon saw us meet the priest at Eskdale Church and have a brief run-through of positioning. He was very helpful and friendly and was ok with the provisional Order of Service.

Afterwards Noel and I visited a nearby café, River Valley Café, which is just a little further along the road in the Taupo direction, on the left when coming from Napier. It was a lovely green oasis and had lots of interesting African items for sale.

In the evening we went to Max’s and had a nice meal. We had already booked tickets at the local Globe cinema so we left about 7.30pm to see Blue Jasmine. I won’t rush to see it again…
