This afternoon we met with the florist and sorted out most of the flowers needed for the wedding.

In the evening we went with Pauline to visit friends of hers, Bruce and Leanne so we could all watch the Christmas episode of Downton Abbey! 🙂 We had a very nice BBQ before settling down to watch it.

We were told a story (and I’m going to repeat it as it’s a funny example of how close people are to farming here) of Bruce’s Dad finishing an evening (years ago) with his mates, with a whisky and milk. The only problem was he had no milk. So they found a cow, brought it home and after failing to push it through the front door availed themselves of its contents in the backyard. 😆
