Another relaxing day, lots of reading.

We went for a walk along the ‘cliff’ edge to find a way to Matheson Bay but the path we followed petered out so in the end we gave up.

Instead, Noel went the route described by Ian and found the way to the bay!

There was an earthquake near Waipukurau this afternoon and Max rang to ask if we had felt it. Apparently only the first one was really felt in Napier. Another one I have missed, after missing the one in January!

We tried going to the local Sawmill Café (pub) but it was closed, being a Monday! So we contented ourselves with the corner shop’s single scoop ice cream and sat at the end of the road overlooking the sea. 🙂

We cooked some fish for dinner.
