On Wednesday 20 November we each had our BFR flight in a C172R. After checking out the plane we were ready to go. It was a nicer day than 2 days previously.

Noel went first and headed for Lake Poukawa for his steep turns, stalls and PFL. Then we headed back and he did 2 circuits – with and without flap.

Looking over to Roy’s Hill with Hasting’s low-flying area over the river beyond.

Then it was my turn and since another plane had said they were headed to Lake Poukawa we headed to Pakipaki instead.
